Gutturnio DOC Riserva Ronco Alto

The name Ronco Alto comes from the name of an old vineyard that, thanks to the limited number of bunches per vine, gives the wine interesting aromatic power on the nose and remarkable structure.

The long fermentation with maceration in steel, with frequent punching down and pumping over, is followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine ages in Bordeaux French oak barriques for one year (not all in new wood). After bottling, another year in the cellar gives the wine balance and elegance. Ronco Alto has a fresh fruity aroma which gives way to more mature and spicy notes. The tannins and a good acidity make it ideal for elaborate and succulent meat dishes.
